1. Keyword Stuffing on Home/Index Page

Many SEOs tries to optimize only home page for all the keywords they have. Many of them have myth that they can only optimize Home Page or it is more valued then other pages of website. This is not true.

2. Duplication Titles

As websites are designed by designers and they are not familiar with SEO techniques, they uses “save as” option while making all content pages and forgets to change Title of pages and upload it.

3. Unnecessary Coding

Many of web designers uses java script, frames and other coding which is very tough for the search engine to read and therefore they become obstacle in optimizing website.

4. Splash / Flash Sites

I often see that there are many visually appealing and attractive websites ranking very poor on Search Engines just because the text are not in font variable and therefore it cannot be optimized for proper keywords. I wonder, why peoples make website in flash.

5. No Deep Keywords Research

Unfortunately, most of webmasters doesn’t focus more on the most important and base of SEO tactics i.e. keyword research. Many webmasters don’t think they need a deep research and get top keywords for each and every page. This is a big mistake. And as a result they are unable to focus on the niche keywords. Don’t guess best keywords, research it.
