Since, I am in SEO space I have seen and submitted mine / my clients websites to so many web directories. After so much researching & compiling, Today I am posting here an list of 3331 web directories.
I have tried to compile as many directories as I can find and today, I would like to share same with you, so that now you also don’t have to invest so much time in finding web directories to submit your websites. So here I go, and the list follows

I don’t think anyone could possibly have the time to do so many submits, obviously. Although there are probably some overseas companies who will give it a shot. About how many do you submit to per client. We only do about 20-30 per client depending on the niche and budget. At least on the outset. We do more submissions over time, of course.

Number of directories submission for specific website definitely depends on clients budget, theme of website and SEO’s attitude.
But this is my efforts to compiled list of directories I am aware of, though many of them niche might be missing from my list. Today, daily so many directories come into existence and so many get buried, so compiling niche directories list have become everlasting process.
