I am not either sure, when did Google release this feature called Google StreetView, but I just came across it today and though to writing about on it to inform loyal visitors of my blog.

The above embedded video should have gave you wholesome idea about the feature released by Google but to give you in words, the feature is going to help you explore the street virtually.

This new interactive features pop out a pegman, which you can drag and drop on to the map. Dropping the pegman on to a Google Map will launch StreetView in full screen view which can zoom and show you virtual streets. According to Google, the uses to street view could be to:

• View street level photographs
• Take virtual walks; pan, rotate and zoom through cities around the world
• Find shops, restaurants, parks, hotels and more

I hope you can enjoy this feature, as it is available in only couple of countries. Still not available in my country, India.
