First of all Happy Republic Day to all Indian!!
Although most of people knows why India celebrates Republic day on 26th January but for people who doesn’t know about it I would like to give them a brief summary. Although India has got its independence on August 15, 1947, the Constitution of India came into effect from January 26, 1950. So we, Indian celebrate our Republic Day on every 26th of January.
