One more update from Google! This time it’s about Google AdWords.
Google has updated its feature for placing your ads in their content network. Now you can combine keyword targeted and placement targeted content networking ad campaigns in the same ad group. Isn’t it good news?
Google’s this update will now allows their clients to target ad on basis of relevant keywords and as well at the same time with the ability to target specific website, set bids for specific placement & target geographical location.
You can find the list of websites you want to target by selecting any option of the 3 options and set ad type & bid for them:
1. Browsing categories
2. Describe topics
3. List URLs
These will benefit Google Adwords clients to get better control and pricing power on the content network. In the past, we were not able to manage everything in a single campaign.
How will it benefit you?
- Targeting very specific easily: Instead of creating separate campaigns for keywords and placements, now you can include both in same campaign which will decrease your workload as well allow you to target your ad very specifically.
- Bid option for specific placements: Now you will have an option to increase or decrease bid for your specific placement.
To give it in simple let me take an example, which can shoot this information directly to your mind. Let’s predict you have a company that deals in web solution services. You want a content network campaign but your needs are very specific. You want your ads to appear on specific websites (with different bids for different website), and you ad should appear only when the site content matches your targeted keywords. Now your needs can be done very easily satisfied with Google Adwords new feature in a single adgroup.
You may see less traffic with this, but Adwords contextual matching feature will help & make sure your placement pages are highly targeted and you get quality of traffic.
